Kyushu U to host 1st ever QS-APPLE in Japan
From November 21 through 23, 2018, the 14th QS-APPLE was held at Chung-Ang University in Seoul, attracting 500+ representatives from higher education institutions in the Asia Pacific region and beyond. Having been launched in 2004, QS-APPLE is one of QS’s signature events designed to provide international educators with “a platform for knowledge sharing and professional networking to help them better understand the changes taking place in the higher education sector.”
On the last day of the conference, Professor Makoto Aratono, Kyushu U’s Executive Vice President, signed the Memorandum of Understanding in a public ceremony with Ms. Mandy Mok, QS Asia’s Chief Executive Officer, to host the next QS-APPLE in Fukuoka. It will be the first QS-APPLE ever to be held in Japan.
