On Tuesday, March 19, 2024, the wrap-up symposium for the Top Global University Project titled “Many faces of internationalization at Kyushu U～ The TGU Initiative: Impact and strategic evolution～” was held online. This symposium showcased examples of progress in internationalization at our university in areas of “education,” “research,” “governance,” and “social Commitment,” attracting more than 180 participants from inside and outside the university.
Participants shared feedback such as:
•”It was highly valuable to hear about unique initiatives like the strategic partnerships, the role and efforts of SIAG, Kyudai NOW, and seminars aimed at making lectures understandable to the general public.”
•”The policy regarding bilingual class sharing in the School of Interdisciplinary Science and Innovation as part of educational internationalization efforts was particularly interesting.”
